Download msvbvm50.zip and extract it to your Windows\System or WINNT\system32 directory - whichever applies to your version of Windows. Download dlg_error_fix.zip and extract
it to your Windows\System or WINNT\system32 directory. For Real Passwords download rtf_error_fix.zip Component 'richtx32.ocx' not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid. Download rtf_error_fix.zip and extract it to your Windows\System or WINNT\system32 directory (which ever applies on your system). You may need to register richtx32.ocx using REGSVR32.EXE found in your system folder. Click the start menu and go to Run. Type: C:\WINNT\System32\REGSVR32.EXE richtx32.ocx and click OK. I lost my password for Mouse Trap! What do I do? Contact us. No, we don't know your password and there is no universal password, but we can help. Please include your order number in your e-mail. We may ask you for more information to prove you are who you say you are. How do I install and run your programs? If the file you downloaded is an .exe file just double click it and follow the instructions on the screen. If the file is .zip, extract the zip file to any location on your hard drive and run the program (programname.exe or abbreviated program name.exe). Under some versions of Windows, normal operations like API and Function calls in VB5 and VB6 will not work because of the registry differences and the system DLL differences... Sorry, you are out of luck until I am able to fix it. No! I don't care if you're just going to use the code for 'educational purposes', the answer is still no! If I want to give away the source code for an application I will say so on the product page (FastView32 comes with it's source code). Can I put your programs on CD's? Just as long as you don't change the distribution of my programs any (ie. the files you download from my site) or take credit for it in any way. No selling or giving away cds with just my stuff on it... it needs to be a collection with lots and lots on it. How Do I put Internet Mail and News in Mr. Internet and Mr. AppLaunch? This will not work under older (before 4.0) versions of NT. :-( Anyway... In Mr. Internet, just type "Internet Mail" or "Internet News" (without the quotes). For Mr. AppLaunch... In order to create a shortcut to "Windows Special Icons" you need the items CLSID (Class Identification). This can be found in your windows system registry. After you obtain the CLSID you will need to make a shortcut like this:
However, since the CLSID's are all the same for 95/98/2k (soon to come) I'll just tell you the CLSID. :-) Internet News.{89292103-4755-11cf-9DC2-00AA006C2B84} Easy enough, right? :-D Read my notice on the Close Popup product page. I am no longer developing it. No refunds. There is some information on the Close Popup product page about how you can still stop popups. Can I order your products on CDROM? As of now, Mouse Trap and Real Passwords are the only products avaliable on CDROM. Click here to purchase Mouse Trap and here to purchase Real Passwords. You will be given the option to order the CD on the order pages. When running the trial version of Mouse Trap the first thing that comes up is a dialog box telling me how many times I can still use it before registering it. But, I was able to open programs and folders with the mouse until I closed that dialog box. I'm assuming that there is no initial dialog box that comes up with the registered version, and therefore nothing in the way of Mouse Trap doing its job. Is that the case? Correct. Only the demo has the dialog box. Once registered the dialog box goes away. |
